We at the Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods are truly moved by the outpouring of support for the Growing Education Through School Lunches campaign. Contributing donors helped to exceed our $15,000 goal by raising a total of $30,848 before the $30,000 match, bringing the final amount raised to $60,848 from 85 generous donors!
Thanks to you, almost 3000 children will be receiving nutritious school lunches on each school day, thereby strengthening their foundation for learning skills to support their futures. Thank you for joining us in our endeavor to end hunger and improve children’s education by providing nutritious meals, learning opportunities through school gardens, and improved school kitchens that will provide safe and sanitary conditions to prepare and serve the food.
