Bikumbi joined ISU-UP as an Agricultural Extension Assistant in 2019. He helps guide the school gardening and agroforestry programs at partner schools and works with the larger community on climate change mitigation. Adam is responsible for conducting various specialized technical tasks such as assessing field site characteristics, determining the best locations for planting crop varieties and determining requirements for fertilizers and pesticides. He shares knowledge and experience with pupils and farmers on the best agronomic practices of crop production and management in schools and farmer's fields. He also works closely with an agronomist in project and experiments implementation.
