Bony joined Iowa State University- Uganda Program in April 2017 as the Assistant Clerk of Works, charged with construction supervision of the Agriculture Training Center Project, ensured the contractor adhered to work quality, standards, and OHSE plan. He also provided a link between the Consultants, Client (ISU-UP) and the contractor, visitors and the Kamuli community until Feb 2018. Thereafter he was appointed the Clerk of Works for ISU-UP effective March 2018 extending his construction oversight role to ISU-UP’s field programs until Jan 2019 and thereafter during Feb 2019 his role changed to Operations and Construction Coordinator, ISU-UP. As the Operations and Construction Coordinator, he is charged with the overall Construction projects oversight and assisting the ISU-UP National Director in Coordinating ISU-UP field operations in Kamuli District; supervision of ISU-UP field activities, participating in the program planning process and budgeting, arranging and scheduling periodic staff meetings and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports. Bony joined Iowa State University - Uganda Program after working in various roles with the private sector including; Icon Consultants as Clerk of Works, Bridge International Academies (K) Uganda Ltd as Construction Supervisor, Embassy of Iceland (Fish handling quality improvement project on Lake Kyoga) as Clerk of Works, and Arbeiter Samariter Bund (Labor-intensive Construction of agricultural productive infrastructures; access roads, valley dams, Rainwater harvesting tanks, community grain stores and boreholes) as Site Supervisor. Bony is a Civil Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Building Engineering from Kyambogo University (2019), a Higher Diploma in Civil and Building Engineering (2015) and an Ordinary Diploma in Architectural (2011).
