Sadat joined the Iowa State University-Uganda Program in 2022 as Production and Marketing Assistant for the Youth Programs to Earn School Fees project. His primary responsibilities include aiding in-school youth to launch income-generating enterprises, and promoting the attainment of other marketable skills such as sewing, baking, soap making, and livestock rearing. With his assistance, youth initiate individual or group enterprises to support their educational pursuits and help them stay in school. Sadat is passionate about empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing them with the tools, skills, and knowledge necessary to succeed.
Sadat holds a diploma in Crop Production from Bukalasa Agriculture College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science in Agriculture at Uganda Martyrs University- Nkozi. He is a dedicated agricultural professional with a decade of experience in implementing agriculture and entrepreneurship projects. Throughout his career, he has worked with several non-governmental organizations (NGOs), including IFDC, Africa 2000 Network-Uganda, and Uzima Chicken Limited, from various districts in Uganda, on a variety of projects and initiatives targeted at increasing agricultural productivity and sustainability.
