Tammi Martin serves as Program Coordinator and Assistant Director for Community Income Generation Innovations. She is also an adviser to the campus organization “Uganda Alliance”. Martin has been employed at Iowa State University since 2005 and has supported multiple departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) during her tenure. Martin took a 2-year hiatus from ISU from 2008-2010 to serve as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer living and working in Ghana, West Africa. Prior to joining the staff at ISU, Martin managed a popular fair-trade crafts store in downtown Ames. Martin is a graduate of ISU and completed her Masters degree in 2018 including a field project focused on crafts groups in Kamuli.
